Pink Snapdragon Spike

A pink snapdragon spike (Antirrhinum majus) rises upright with open blooms and a line of unopened buds. The petals are translucent pink with warm rim light on the hairy green stem, photographed close and vertical against a dark, blurred background. A fine spider silk thread crosses the stem near the lower buds.
