Wooden Mooring Posts with Chains

Wooden mooring posts with rusted chains stand in the lagoon near San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. They occupy the right foreground in cool blue-gray dusk tones; the posts' weathered gray-brown wood and orange-brown rust contrast with the pale stone church and bell tower across the water. A thin crescent moon sits above the church and green algae marks the posts at the waterline.
