Astronomical Clock Zodiac Panel

The astronomical clock zodiac panel sits in a curved stone arch and shows gilded zodiac reliefs, including a lion (Leo) and a crab (Cancer). The metal figures are gold against a worn deep-blue background, set beside pale, veined stone marked with large dark Roman numerals and photographed at a diagonal. Small star motifs and raised lettering circle the disk, and the gilding shows scratches and areas of greenish tarnish.
