Gull on Wooden Mooring Post

A gull perches on a weathered wooden mooring post near a built-up waterfront. Its head and breast are white, the folded wings are pale gray, and the legs and bill are yellow; the bird occupies the right side of the frame against a softly blurred stone balustrade and ironwork. A small red spot on the lower bill and the worn grain and white guano marks on the post are clearly visible.
