Luigi Milani Water Taxi

The wooden water taxi Luigi Milani is moored at blue-striped pilings on the Grand Canal in Venice. Warm streetlamps and shop windows light the stone quay while a deep blue dusk sky fills much of the frame and reflections ripple across the canal. A lamppost in the foreground casts bright light on a couple standing at the edge of the pavement.
