Charred Bark Loop

A charred bark loop sits on a gravel surface, photographed low and close to its hollow center. Dark brown and black char covers the fibrous curve, with small orange specks and a soft grey background rendered by a very shallow depth of field. Frayed fibers and cracked layers are visible along the ridges where the surface collects the orange flecks.
