Stone Footbridge on Venice Canal

A stone footbridge spans a narrow canal in Venice, with two people standing on the bridge. The buildings along the canal are weathered ochre, terracotta and gray with dark shutters; an overcast sky keeps contrast low and the water mirrors the facades. A red-and-blue covered motorboat is moored in the foreground and window boxes spill with plants.
