Tiny Brown Shelf Fungi

Shelf fungi grow from the side of a lichen-covered tree trunk in this frame. Warm brown caps sit against pale green-gray foliose lichen, lit softly with a shallow depth of field and a blurred vertical background. The caps show scalloped, slightly frayed edges with fine surface texture visible at the rim.
