Purple Dead-nettle Flower Cluster

A purple dead-nettle (Lamium purpureum) flower cluster occupies the lower foreground. Pale lavender and pink tubular corollas with fuzzy edges are lit by cool, diffuse light against a softly blurred backdrop of muted foliage tones. The nearest corolla shows tiny hooked hairs and darker purple speckles on its lower lip.
