Rugosa Rose Single Blossom

A rugosa rose blossom sits near the lower center of the frame on a shrub branch. The five broad magenta petals surround a yellow disk of stamens, lit softly and set against deep green, heavily veined foliage and a blurred background. One petal shows a small crease and the orange-tipped stamens are sharply detailed in the focus plane.
