Gilded Ceiling with Fresco

Gilded ceiling with a central painted fresco sits above a dark wood-paneled hall. Bright gold ornament surrounds an oval composition of figures, with deep brown benches below and daylight entering from a tall window at the right. The carved scrollwork forms an elaborate oval cartouche that frames the crowded scene in the ceiling painting.
