Venetian Alleyway to Canal

A narrow Venetian alleyway leads directly to a small canal opening between two brick buildings. Warm terracotta plaster and exposed red-brown brick flank a wet stone pavement that reflects the pale daylight coming from the water; a dark concrete overhang fills the top of the frame. Graffiti, utility boxes, and cables run along the walls, and a single boat is visible at the canal mouth.
