Orange Strawflower Close-Up

A strawflower (paper daisy) fills the lower half of the frame in an extreme close-up. The papery bracts run from a yellow center to bright orange with red-tipped edges, set against a soft, out-of-focus green background and strong frontal light. A thin filament of spider silk is visible across the top edge of the upper bracts.
