Fungus Gills at Cap Edge

Fungus gills run along the rim of a dried cap, shown in tight macro framing at the cap edge. The folded layers are pale cream to beige, lit softly from the side, with a shallow depth of field that leaves the background a smooth tan. A thin darker margin outlines the rim and a fine powder of spores clings to some folds.
