Bridge of Sighs

The Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri) arches over a narrow canal in Venice between two stone buildings. The black-and-white photograph shows mid-gray carved facades, reflective canal water, and a motorboat centered in the foreground. Through the lower arch a pedestrian bridge and small groups of people are visible, which give a sense of scale.
