Cellar Spider on Leaf

A cellar spider hangs from a single silk thread beneath a leaf. The picture is rendered in black-and-white with side light and a very shallow depth of field that leaves the spider's pale patterned abdomen and thin translucent legs in sharp focus while the leaf below reads as soft texture. A single water droplet sits on the leaf edge beneath the spider, making its position look slightly precarious.
