European Starling on Wire

A European starling perches on a slanted metal utility wire near the lower-right of the frame. The bird sits against a pale blue, evenly lit sky with the wire running diagonally across the image. The starling's speckled winter plumage and the wire's twisted strands are clearly visible up close.
