Dragonfly on Peach Rose

A dragonfly perches with its wings fully spread on a peach rose. Soft warm light reveals translucent wings and dark venation against blurred peach, pink and beige tones in a tight macro composition. The individual wing cells and a small dark pterostigma near each wingtip are clearly visible at this magnification.
