African Marigold Cluster

African marigolds fill the lower frame with their ruffled pompon heads gathered at the front of the image. The petals are bright yellow set against blurred dark foliage, and the photographer used a shallow depth of field so the foreground blooms are sharp. A metal planter rim is visible at the lower left of the frame.
