Bracket Fungus on Tree Stump

A bracket fungus sits on the side of a sunlit tree stump. Warm late-afternoon sunlight backlights the fungus and rim-light produces visible lens flare and circular bokeh; the main tones are pale beige fungus, dark brown bark, and bright yellow highlights. The fungus surface shows a pitted, porous texture and a thin illuminated edge.
