Flaky Tree Trunk Plates

Flaky tree trunk plates sit in overlapping sheets along the trunk. The close crop shows dark brown, charcoal and rust tones with small patches of pale yellow lichen, lit from the side with a shallow depth of field. Fine radial cracks and sharp plate edges are visible in the foreground.
