Red Rosebud on Stem

Red rosebud on its stem sits near the lower center of the frame. The petals are deep red against pale green sepals and dark green foliage, photographed with soft natural light and a shallow depth of field. A small unopened bud appears behind it and one outer petal shows a slight curl at the edge.
