Jumping Spider on Gravel

A jumping spider sits on coarse gray gravel near the lower left of the frame. Its glossy black body shows bristled brown and white hairs on the cephalothorax, and a tight shallow depth of field renders the surrounding pebbles into a soft blur. The spider's large forward-facing eyes catch the light and tiny orange tips are visible on its front legs.
