Ornate Wooden Beam Ceiling

The ornate wooden beam ceiling runs the length of a long ceremonial corridor lined with carved wooden choir stalls. Dark patterned beams and gilt cornices contrast with pale walls, and bright backlit daylight from a large window at the far end creates a strong central vanishing point. A cluster of visitors at the window gives a sense of scale, and a single metal hook hangs from one beam.
