Textured Tree Trunk Close-Up

A tree trunk and intersecting branches fill the frame in a close, vertical view. The image is black-and-white with strong side light that picks out the rough, cracked texture on the trunk while the background falls soft and blurred. Near the lower right a small cluster of dried seed pods hangs from a thin twig.
