Asian Lady Beetle on Plant Blade

An Asian lady beetle (Harmonia axyridis) sits at the outer edge of a serrated plant blade. The beetle's glossy orange shell with irregular black spots is sharply focused in the lower-right of the frame against a soft, out-of-focus green background and diffuse daylight. A small highlight on its elytra and the tiny legs gripping the blade are clearly visible.
