Praying Mantis Nymph on Bud

A praying mantis nymph clings to the tip of a small plant bud near the lower right corner. The insect is pale beige with dark compound eyes, photographed with extreme shallow depth of field against a broad olive-green background. The mantis' black eyes appear as the sharpest point in the frame while the rest of the body and stem fall into soft blur.
