San Marco Vaporetto Stop

The San Marco vaporetto stop sits on the water's edge in front of the Doge's Palace and a long row of Venetian palazzi. A pale blue-gray sky fills most of the frame and the cool-toned water reflects the buildings; the scene is captured as a wide horizontal band across the lower third. A vaporetto is moored at the dock and a small gondola bobs nearby.
