Gothic Church Stained-Glass Apse

The stained-glass apse windows sit above the church choir and upper arcades, dominating the upper interior. Vivid reds, blues and yellows glow through the tall figurative panels, set against carved arches and ribbed vaulting while the nave below remains dim. A single warm rectangle of light from a side doorway punctuates the darkness at right.
