Borage Stamen and Petals

A borage (Borago officinalis) flower sits at the right edge of the frame, its curved purple style and pollen-tipped stamens extending toward the center. The petals are bright blue-violet set against a soft beige background, shot with diffused light and a very shallow depth of field so the stamens are sharp while the petals blur. A small black ant is visible crawling under a hairy leaf at the lower right.
