The water surface with gentle ripples fills the frame. It is rendered in black-and-white with a soft gradient from lighter tones at the top to darker tones at the bottom and even, diffuse light on the small wave crests. A few tiny dark flecks interrupt the uniform texture near the center-right of the frame.
