Inkcap Cluster on Mulch

Inkcap fungi sit in a tight cluster on wood mulch and small pieces of bark. The caps range from tan to gray with wrinkled, slightly glossy surfaces; low side light picks out the ridges while a shallow focus leaves the background soft. One cap shows a torn rim with tiny droplets along its edge.
