Bracket Fungi on Fallen Log

Bracket fungi cling to a fallen log, growing in overlapping shelf-like fruiting bodies along the bark. The caps are beige to tan with darker centers, set against dark, weathered wood and photographed as a vertical close-up with soft directional light. The largest cap near the center shows a small radial split and a finely pitted surface.
