Sunflower Bud and Stem

A sunflower bud sits near the top of a tall, hairy stem, angled slightly downward. The image is rendered in black-and-white with strong backlighting that lights the fine hairs and produces large circular bokeh behind the bud. The bud's pointed bracts and the curving stem create a spiky silhouette against the bright highlights.
