Cluster of Mycena Mushrooms

A cluster of small Mycena mushrooms grows from a piece of rotting wood near the ground. The photograph shows warm brown caps and pale translucent stems lit from behind, shot low and tight to emphasize the gills and shafts. A thin filament connects two stems and a fine dusting is visible on several cap edges.
