Cushion Moss Peristome Teeth

Cushion moss peristome teeth line the right-hand edge of a small moss cushion. The image is black-and-white with a bright, out-of-focus background and a very narrow plane of focus that leaves the foreground moss soft and blurred. A few teeth form tiny looped, figure-eight shapes that read like miniature rings along the margin.
