Moss on Weathered Bark

Moss on weathered bark sits in the fissures of a fallen log, forming thin tufts across the ridged surface. The image shows dark brown and nearly black bark with small patches of yellow-green moss, shot in soft, natural light and framed very close with a shallow depth of field. A narrow line of brighter moss runs along a central crevice and the bark's layered ridges catch small glints of moisture.
