Dried Poppy Seed Capsule

A dried poppy seed capsule sits at the center of the frame, photographed end-on. The tan-gray capsule is sharply focused against a warm, out-of-focus dark background; side light brings out the radial ridges. Fine dust and weathered fibers fill the grooves of the capsule top.
