Harlequin Ladybird on Bark

A harlequin ladybird crawls along a rough tree bark at the lower-right edge of the frame. The orange-and-black shell is softly lit and photographed with a very shallow depth of field, leaving a large dark, out-of-focus background. The pale pronotum has irregular black markings and the bark's narrow ridge runs diagonally through the shot.
