St Mark's Campanile Spire

The St Mark's Campanile spire rises above the Doge's Palace roofline and is topped by a gilded archangel weathervane. The pyramid roof shows a patinated copper tone against a blue sky, sitting above a red-brown brick facade and pale stone columns that frame the view. Two large carved columns in the foreground are out of focus, giving the spire a tall, staged perspective.
