Santa Maria della Salute Dome

The Santa Maria della Salute dome sits at the mouth of Venice's Grand Canal, rising above the waterfront buildings. The sky fills most of the frame with purple and orange bands of light and radiating sunbeams, and that color is reflected across the rippled water. A line of moored gondolas marks the right foreground while a vaporetto crosses near the center.
