Rialto Bridge with Gondolas

The Rialto Bridge crosses the Grand Canal in Venice and is crowded with pedestrians on its balustrade. The photograph is presented in black-and-white with even gray tones under an overcast sky and a wide horizontal framing that includes the canal and waterfront buildings. A 'Servizio Gondole' kiosk and striped wooden mooring poles sit in the foreground beneath the bridge.
