Gulls on Stone Statues

Three gulls are perched on carved stone statues along the cornice of a classical building. A wide vertical crop leaves most of the frame filled with a pale blue-gray sky while the statues and birds read in cool white and gray under even, late-day light. One gull bends down toward a statue's head, and the carved stone shows dark spots of weathering and lichen.
