Golden-haired Caterpillar on Bark

A golden-haired caterpillar crawls along the rough tree bark near the lower left of the frame. The bright yellow hairs stand out against the dark gray-brown fissured bark while the background falls into a soft pale blur. Several long bristles catch the light and a small black head is tucked into the body.
