Row of Burano Canal Houses

Burano canal houses line a cobbled quay beside a calm canal. Bright red, lavender, pink and blue facades face the camera under a pale blue sky, their green shutters, tiled roofs and antennas clearly visible; a small white motorboat sits in the foreground reflected in the water. A striped doorway curtain hangs on the lavender house, a domestic detail in the geometric row.
