Sprout in Stone Crevice

A sprout grows from a narrow crevice in a weathered stone facade, jutting a few inches from the wall. Its bright green leaves catch soft daylight against the pale grey vertical grooves while a blurred canal, gondola silhouette and arched bridge sit out of focus behind. Tiny clumps of moss and damp stains ring the crack where the plant emerges.
