Lady Justice with Sword and Scales

The Lady Justice statue stands atop an ornate pediment holding a gilded sword and a pair of scales. The marble figure is mostly white and pale gray while the crown, sword and scale pans are covered in bright gold leaf against a pale overcast sky; carved companion figures and foliate ornament sit below. One scale pan tilts slightly and shows worn, flaking gold at its rim.
