Peeling Plaster on Venetian Facade

Peeling plaster on a Venetian facade exposes the underlying brick along a narrow canal. The wall shows pale beige stucco, red-brown brick, green algae at the waterline and dark green shutters under soft overcast light; the photograph frames the building's corner and a moored blue-topped boat. Several arched windows have iron grilles and a small balcony holds trailing plants, giving extra texture to the surface.
