Gilded Coffered Ceiling Panels

A gilded coffered ceiling with painted oval and rectangular panels sits overhead in the frame. The ornament is mostly gilded relief surrounding blue-sky scenes and flesh-toned figures, recorded in an even, frontal exposure and a tight horizontal crop. Two small octagonal cartouches with Latin inscriptions are visible among the carved decoration.
