Marble Altar Tabernacle with Cross

The marble altar tabernacle sits at the center of the chancel and houses a gilded processional cross in its niche. A red velvet backing frames the gold cross beneath a blue-and-white crowned canopy, with red-brown marble columns and tall white candles flanking the structure. The canopy's blue panels show small areas of worn gilding and two painted figures are partly visible on the curved wall above.
